About Me

Presently, I am working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Indira Gandhi University Meerpur, Rewari since February 2025. Earlier I was associated with the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Galgotias University as Professor and Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh Noida, and Amity School of Engineering and Technology, New Delhi as an Assistant Professor since 2004. I have completed my Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, India. I received my M. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in 2003, M.Sc. in Computer Science (Software) in 2001, and B.Sc. in Computer Science in 1999  from Kurukshetra University. My research interest is in Artificial Neural Networks, Genetic Algorithms, Machine Learning Algorithms, Fuzzy Logic, and PSO for different applications like Image Processing, Digital Watermarking, and Information Hiding. I have published more than 25 papers in international journals like Multimedia Tools and Application, the International Journal of Computer Electrical Automation Control and Information Engineering, the International Journal of Machine Learning & Cybernetics, and many International Conferences. I am also a member of the Editorial Board of many International Journals and on the panel of Reviewers of many SCI/Scopus index Journals.

  • Acted as HOD (CSE/IT) from March 2015 to August 2015 in the absence of Prof. M.N. Gupta.

  • Seminar Coordinator (CSE/IT) from July 2013 to Dec 2016.

  • Acted as a practical examination coordinator (CSE/IT) from 2006 to 2018 and arranged the external examiners.

  • Faculty Coordinator of Foundation Program of Infosys for 3rd and 4th-year students of Amity School of Engineering and Technology from 2006 to 2008.

  • Coordinator of the Syllabus Design Committee of GGSIPU in 2014.

  • Coordinator of Load Balance Committee (IT) of GGSIPU in 2014.

  • Coordinator (CSE) of Spoken-Tutorials conducted by IIT Bombay from 2014 to 2016.

  • Member of Exam Cell from 2015 to 2018 and conducted successful Mid Term and End Term Exams.

  • Coordinated a national workshop NWIPOT-2016.

  • Member of the organization team of the International Conference on Signal, Networks, Computing, and Systems (ICSNCS-2016) organized by JNU.

  • Implemented Amizone successfully in ASET Delhi and Amizone Coordinator of the College.

  • Implemented Library Automation successfully using Koha.

  • Represented the Department of Computer Science in the internal process of accreditation by the National Board of Accreditation in 2009.

  • Appraised by the ISO certification team after seeing the system of working and my maintenance of record.

  • A faculty member of the Board of Governors of RBEF during 2013-14.

  • Dedicated to the duty assigned to me. Every activity is executed on or before the deadline.
